My Name is Fred. Im a new member, new Buick owner and new to the collector car hobby. The car will be in Northwest New Jersey. The car will be stored in a climate controlled garage. I have always liked the Buick's and have been planning to get into the hobby for many years. A friend sent me the link to Jason's add last Saturday night. My initial thought was " I would buy any 70' GS, 455, 4spd for 14K no matter what the condition" as I'm sure all of you would too. At first sight I was a bit discouraged, but after further appreciation of the patina and learning what the car had into it, the knowledge and care that Jason has toward the car I was sold! Jason is an absolute gentleman and part of my decision to buy was influenced by hopefully having a "go to guy" like him for help and support. I plan to buy a restored Stage 1 in the future (hopefully from Jason). And yes "The Beater" will go on!

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'll be posting the shows we will be attending once the seasons gets going. Im looking forward to the attention and comments it brings. Its very simple, if she doesn't get the respect she deserves in the parking lot I will be happy to embarrass them on the street, lol.
