In line, Dan, was this trans built strong enough as a back up for your car? What hp level do you think it will handle? No brake? Not manual shift?

Hey MARK!! I have two Nailhead trans on my garage floor. They are burried however, IIRC, one is a SP400 and the other I BELEIVE, would be a ST400? I'll dig them out and get #'s if you have any interest...

Hey Gary,this was in my red car.went a best of 10.61.so yes its build very good.took it out and had it freshened in case I needed it.but it's been sitting on my shelf since.forward(normal) shift pattern. Has a governor but I shifted it manually.
