    All,

A friend is giving me a TH400 Longtail.
    Will it work/fit in a 1970 Skylark/GS?

The only thing I can think of is that I would need to shorten the driveshaft.

    Any pros or cons?

    Thanks in advance!

    Does anyone have an answer?

    Friends,

Does anyone have an answer to my question above concerning
the TH400 Longtail Shaft being used in a 1970 Skylark/GS?

Do I need to provide more information concerning my car?

    Thanks

    Mark,
You need a shortshaft trans. Pinion angle will be all wrong with the long shaft trans. Finding a shortshaft shouldn't be a problem.
