Looking for TH400 governor cores to experiment with, trying to develop a repeatable formula for various shift point RPM at defined levels of line pressure.. Can be from any year, make model but would appreciate a notation of what two letter trans code it was from if possible. I've been paying 10.00 each locally, PM me to discuss...

Outstanding idea Rhett. I had planned on tweaking my shiftpoints as well and put one govenor aside. I also have a B&M Governor Recalibration Kit BMM-20248 $75 , on my Summit wishlist. Probably a good idea to keep the original unmolested. Jim

SOMEWHERE on this forum (I wrote it, but can never find it) I did a thread on my governor set up which was spot on 5300 shifts with stock th400 line pressure. I used 1 B&M spring and weight in that recipe, I want to duplicate it with all OEM weights and springs but I'm going to destroy a few in the process I know, hence the need for a few cores on the bench.......if you guys need a pretty good starting point, that thread shows just what I did.
