When I am logged on to this board and click on v8Buick icon at the top of the page - intending to return to home page - I get un-logged in and have to start over. If I start over using the pull-down menu it will log me back in again with out having to enter my log-in ID and password. Is there a remedy for this?

    Thanks, in advance,

    Matt

I have the same issue. If I type "v" in the address bar it defaults to "v8buick.com" and I hit enter, it takes me to the main page and I'm still logged in. If I hit "new posts it takes me back there and I'm still logged in. But for some reason if I hit the banner it goes to the main page but I'm logged out.

I might suggest trying to clear the cache in your browser. In Chrome this can be found by selecting Ctrl H - look on the left for clearing history. Select that -- one of the options is to clear cache. It's not a bad idea to flush that once and a bit anyways

Yes, the above is correct, that is your browser doing that, not the board's software.

I can click the logo and stay logged in.. just tried it several times.

O'k, thank guys. I'll give that a whirl. It just started one day and doesn't occur on other sites. I never thought it was a board issue, though.

    Hello Erik,

    Welcome back!! Where ya been?

Thanks very much. I did as you suggested and it now works well again. I asked the head IT of a local college about my issue with the computer and he he gave me the "deer in the headlights" blank stare and said something about the website has the problem. I told him I seriously doubted that idea. I thanked him for his time.

    Again, thanks

    Matt
