You will be fine with high heat paint. These cars don't see winter, much rain if any, and are for the most part, babied. No average of 12k miles per year either.
I think I sent them to Jet Hot. I know I sent them out and I think that is where they went to. It was 1994 memory is clouded. Lot of race gas and rubber smoke. lol
I here ya, last winter lasted 7 months over here as well! Had like a week and a half of spring then it was high 80s and humid then the 90s with humidity showed up!(that's Fahrenheit for our metric speaking friends) Stupid global warming!
The wide tires are so the car stays on top of the snow! They probably wouldn't be so bad if he could fit a set of chains on them, but the chains would probably hit the wheel wells.
