    Afternoon guys.

    I have two questions.

    1) What is the correct tail light border color for my ‘72 Skylark Custom? Right now I have silver. I’ve seen black as well.

    2) Is there a polish or a way to clear up & get rid of scratches in my instrument cluster lenses? If not so they sell repro cluster lenses?

    Thanks,

    Kyle

Kyle what I always do is take 0000 steel wool and scuff the paint and Red lense. Then mask off the lense and paint the silver area black. After a couple of days then I clearcoat the whole lense fairly heavy. Let it dry good and reinstall. Makes them really pop. Oh yeah use the same brand of spray bomb paint.

Being generous, the example probably took 30 seconds. A rag dipped finger in the stuff and make little circles. It wont even break your stride. I used the cleaner after for the static (if any), and that stuff is like regular plexiglass cleaner. Probably non-ammonia. ws

I think Duane outlined his process in the Motion thread....
