Have a 1963 wildcat tach in my 67. Accuracy varies by up to 1000 rpm periodically.
    Has anyone tried this? uRevCo
Or do any you know how to clean the workings safely?

I repair and re-calibrate these much more cost effectively than a commercial business

Internal only or cosmetically as well? How does one get a quote?

Internally. I don't do much cosmetically

Do you or do you know of a source that refurbish (or sells) the glass/plastic face plates for Buick tachs ?

Someone on here makes them too for the older style tach like the OP has, if that’s what you need.

Internally only, I can paint the needle, but that's the limit of my cosmetic ability. I will look at it for free, that will only cost you shipping. Almost all of the repairs I have done in the last few years were less than $50 and usually consisted of component and/or board repair. I cannot repair the meter movement unless it is something simple, in which case I will simply return it to you.
