It's the 70 GS in my avatar. I'm running the SP-X with a 1050 resting on top of a 482. Made 705hp and 635tq running a best of a 10.30 @ 132 with a 1.40 sixty at BG last yr. Is a new combo with only 5 passes on it before exploding the rear diff down there. Looking to get into the 9s this year with it and I do drive it on the freeway. As soon as I get my 9 I will be removing the 1" spacer and putting the GS hood back on.
Hmmmm, okay let me think on that a bit. I just want to get my '66 into the 10s, so I'm sure it will be doable. Maybe you should do like I did and spend the $3K on a nice Strange Dana 60 with Wilwood discs. It should hold up to around 1000 hp, so I'm not too worried about any issues on that front....Tell me your absolute best price shipped to 53150 and we'll go from there....
I just got done doing up the one I have with the right parts. If it breaks again I'm hanging up my helmet,lol. I ran that intake from my 11.70 build and well into my 10s so you'd be fine. Just make sure your engine guy signs off on it first. $250 shipped to your doorstep
