Looking for these remaining parts for my Stage 2 build. Ran into some unexpected expenses this year, so I am simply trying to do what I can to make the build more affordable and achievable. Thought I would throw this out there in case anyone has some of these new unused parts left laying around for some reason. If you have one or more of the following part numbers, let me know what you have and how much you are asking for it, and we'll see what I have in the kitty. Shipping would be to 53150. Thanks for the help! I have a new main stud kit and I take gaskets. $100 plus shiping. Are you sure on that pushrod length?? Sounds alittle short. I'll have to look but I think mine are 9.400??
I have a set of roller lifters, got them from Larry, the Wizard, I was going to use them, but looks like things have changed for me.And they are in excellent condition. These are TA roller rockers. He has a Hydraulic roller cam.I also have a set of stock oil pan bolts and I have to look again, but I might have the pushrods also, but I think with these tall rockers, you will need ,as Gary mentioned, much shorter push rods.Bruno.Right you are Larry, thank you.Bruno.
They lifters just have TA Performance on them. The box,I would think its original, has Johnson Lifters Assembled January 2016,#2477,409 chevy ,hydraulic roller lifters. The pan bolts are the stock ones,so that apeacks for itself. The pushrods that I have are a little too long,They are TA,but mine are 9.6 a shade over 9,5.Bruno.
Okay, I may have to do some research on those lifters just to make sure. What are your prices on the lifters, and on the pan bolts?
Part number is TA 1412 roller lifters. They are made by Morel. I sold them to Bruno a few years ago. They are in excellent shape. They were 345.00/set in 2010. They are 433.00/set today.
pushrods should always be one of the last things you should buy. you really cant know till motor is machined and heads on it to actually measure. 0 deck on motor can still be a different deck height compaired to another depending on rods, pistons, even how far the crank is machined, or the main tunnel is machined.
Does it have to be a 4100 carb intake? I do have this 4500 SP-1 intake for sale. Contrary to somes belief, you can drive a dominator on the streets.....I do. Plus, you'll have the much needed extra cfm's our Buicks love. With a 2" drop base air cleaner you can also run the stock hood if you'd like. Here's the hyper link to my post http://www.v8buick.com/index.php?threads/sp1-dominator-intake-manifold.345078/
Yeah, I still am unsure of what carb I was going to run, wanted to see what the guy at the speed shop recommended. What are you running? What kind of engine recipe are you using? What kind of track times are you achieving?
