Please note this pan will not work with cars that have an original single exhaust cross over. Dual exhaust or a custom cross over will be required. Any idea what that “rectangular” area is all about? The pic on TA’s website looks smooth and rounded like the original.. is yours a very early design? How long ago was it purchased?
I bought it about 3 months ago. No telling how old the picture on the site is or if it’s correct. Feel free to call them and ask.
The squared off center section of the front sump is the later design... the smooth round one is older. Like Hugger said, additional rotating assembly clearance.
