TA Headers, differences in regards to fit?

    I had little issue fitting 2 1/8," on my iron stage 1 heads......the middle bolt sucked

    Niw for my stage1 head also using the 2 1/8 the bolts fit better.......but there is a very order specific way to get them in....my valve covers have to be off on both sides and the drivers side u need to pull the steering shaft.........

    Now my motor is moved back in car and has been for decades now........the front tube going around the control arm on the drivers side needed extra clearance and I had to split the flange on the last tube to get it to pull up......

    With the uncut flange on Shorty headers, I had to bend the dipstick tube to eliminate interference. On the other side, the transmission cooler lines had to be re-routed.

    My 71 with air had no fitment issues with the 1 7/8 tubes.
