TA 210 S-HL cam & lifters

    I'm going to a 308S next so I won't be needing this one
    Approximately 3000 Street miles
    and about 2 dozen 1/4 mile runs
    My full weight GS with 3:90 gears
    TH 400 3000stall converter ,455CI went

    Interested,.. did you use a lifter brace and what heads and compression did you use with the motor...

    J.Staged,I didn't use a lifter bore brace.
    I used a set of home ported Iron 67/68 large port 91942 heads on a stock 70 block/piston = 10-1 compression

    I'm running 10.90's with this cam in my full-weight, full exhaust convertible using a Qjet. Mine has TA Stage 1 SE heads though. No lifter girdle, or main girdle either. It's been together for 10 years now too I think.

    Thanks Bob, for the info,.. I was very impressed year's ago when you did that motor for that ragtop and it ran 10:90's,.. Im planning on some Edelbrock heads with this cam ,.
    I thought fast430 did very well with cast iron heads... 11:0's
