    Hi,

I started my 455 Buick up for a few seconds today for the first time and had an oil pressure gauge which goes up to 100 Psi connected to a T where the oil pressure switch is, and the needle went way past 100. I have your TA 1506 kit installed along with the TA 1510 booster plate.

I'm wondering if the TA 1506 is not good for my engine, since I have not have any oil mods done to the block. Does this put out excessive amounts of oil pressure....maybe I should go with more stock gears along with the booster plate??

    Thanks!

Anthony, there's no way I would use that pump kit on your engine. The stock gears with the booster plate is fine. The high volume kit is best suited for a race engine with large bearing clearances.

This is right from their catalog:

    Thanks Devon!

Ordered the stock oil pump kit today, so let's hope I get the right amount of oil pressure with that and the booster plate so I can break this engine in. :beer :beer
