switch pitch bracket

looking to install the switch pitch hardware on my 65 GS with a factory 2x4 setup. The intake is off a 65 Riv. Have all i need except for the mounting bracket to mount the unit to the intake. Any one have one?

 

you can make the single carb one work. if you have it

 

I wish I did. Got one for a 64 single carb, but they are different.

 

it will work did it on mine. just need a longer bolt for last intake bolt and about a one inch spacer to raise the bracket up, only use the front bolt hole on the bracket.the rear bolt hole on the bracket will just hang to the back.

 

I do have access to a 65 single four bracket off a friends car. Worth a try. Like the scoop on the hood and the color.

 

post in Parts Wanted....someone on here was making them and a few guys have a few originals.

 

I can't remember what it looked like on mine but I believe Jimmy Shields told me you can mod the 4 barrel unit by cutting the "tab? and weld it back on on further back?

 

Thanks for the feedback. PGSS, your talking about using the 65 single four bracket, correct? Don't have the bracket, but can use a fiends for a pattern.

 

No sorry about that, the single 4 on the 66 Skylark GS and how he converted it to the factory dual quad..I'm assuming its the pretty much the same?
He's very active on his FB sight so I would post him there.

 

Found the bracket I needed. Called Carmen and he had one. Thanks for all the help.
