Swap info needed, 8.5 into '66 GS

    NJBuickRacer I'd rather be racing...

    I'm getting ready to build my GS, and know that the 8.2 would probably explode on the first pass with my powertrain plans. Does anyone know exactly what's involved for the swap, like springs(66 has the bolt-in style), control arms, and custom driveshaft info?

    Except for the drive shaft length it's a bolt in. The driveshaft will have to be shortened a little. The 66 springs will work with no problems. It's a little wider than your GS rear. So, depending on your wheel/tire combo you may have some clearance problems.
