Cole, you should highly consider starting a dedicated build thread much like I did with Rusty. Its a great way to keep a timeline of the build all in one place.

I like the paint rack! Now I hafta make one from scaffold braces Ive got; assemble it with wing nuts and a hinge pin at the top so it can all get put away when not using it.

that's the best part of the resto. I always enjoyed the reassembly.

what did you use for paint?

Shawn....good idea on the build thread. I will do that, as I really enjoyed following yours!

For the paint I used Eastwood's Chassis Black Extreme. I used their paint prep first, then their Extreme Chassis Black Primer, and then the paint. Looks very good, IMO!

Also, for the paint rack, it is actually a rack from Home Depot that is used in their garden centers to hold their hanging plants. I saw a few in their back lot, and I asked a yard guy if I could buy one. He said $50 cash, so I jumped on it. Not sure if he was supposed to sell it, but I wasn't asking questions! With the wing nut assembly, it breaks down into a neat little pile for storage. :)
