Survivor quality (and restored) set of the power brake booster vacuum pipe parts:

    >Survivor quality original metal pipe - nice looking and not rusty, etc. Steel fitting on end isn't rounded off or rusty/crusty, not pitted either. Pipe has the nice silver/grey-ish appearance so the original plating must have survived pretty well.

    >Pipe clip and mounting bolt - nicely replated with the clip in phosphate and the bolt in clear zinc

    >Original "square tab" pinch clamps - refinished and painted black

    >Original hose included but it's not great - I will include a section of NEW Gates vacuum hose that is the correct diameter for the pipe (shown in last pic)

$75 shipped in the lower 48. Payment by check or money order - no paypal

Any idea if this is same on a '68 Big Block car? THX

I have no idea....it's not the block (big block or small block) as much as it's the MODEL of car that may be different as far as these pipes go. What I'm saying is a big block may be wider and/or taller than a small block which may put the end of the pipe in a different spot relative to the brake booster. BUT.....I suspect they just used a different length rubber section of hose to make up any differences due to that OR due to a wider engine compartment (ie - brake booster further away from the motor on something like an Electra, etc).

HOWEVER - I'm just not familiar enough with what style vacuum pipe was used on the '68 models. I may be able to check tomorrow if a car I know of at a salvage place still has the pipe on the motor.
