Here is the info on carb enclosures. Three styles are available all three are fully sealed and utilize trick internal linkage set ups to hook up to stock outer linkage. They are also available with internal fuel line plumbing already set up.

First, the Vortech box. Inlet is on side of the lid, lid is reversable. Fits a single carb. Price is $664.00 without the internal fuel lines & $800.95 with the lines. Box has several available ports for vac/boost, fuel A/N fittings, etc. Pretty bright finish with finned top and Vortech logo.

The other 2 are ATI & come with the internal plumbing set up. Available in both single & dual quad with a front OR rear inlet which would be the only way to go with a dual turbo setup. They run $695.00 for single quad and $1,195.00 for the dual quad. They are black with polished fins and the Procharger logo.

Although these boxes are fairly sophisticated in their design and have been flowed, ALL boxes exhibit more turbulence than you would have with a bonnet. An air diffuser on the carb is recommended.

Remember even with a carb enclosure the ONLY recommended carb is a Holley 4150 series double pumper with mechanical secondaries. You cannot use a Quadrajet, Carter, or vacuum secondary Holley. Even with the carb enclosure, you will still need to remove (mill off) the choke horn, remove the plate & assembly, plus convert to nitrophyl floats.

I do still recommend the carb bonnet with a properly prepared and sealed Holley. It is a simplier installation, easier to tune, with far less turbulence. Besides when you have your Holley prepped, for use with the bonnet, it is fully set up for ALL aspects of supercharged life, which means better driveability, power, reliability, etc.

Fully prepped Stage 1 Holleys with sealed throttle shafts, milled choke horn, nitrophyl floats, float bowl spaces, balance tube, initial jetting and all mating surfaces fully milled run $500.00 exchange. Stage 2 with modified Venturis, custom annular boosters and emulsion blocks are $675.00 exchange (Holley HP series).

Hope that answers at lot of questions, e-mail me for help.
