Do you think the mileage claim is legit? With that color combo, you may need to put an"off duty" sign in the window! https://www.ebay.com/itm/1973-Buick...rentrq:59ed1a7316f0aa47a0a42794ffa1447e|iid:1
Colonial Yellow is one of the worst colors Buick ever put on a car, they have the color enhanced on these pictures and it does appear much brighter yellow than it is. It's a cross between velveeta cheese, butter scotch, and baby poo. They will never see anywhere near the asking price for a basic LeSabre sedan in a horrible color regardless of how low mileage. This one has been for sale in the past a couple times.
If the mileage claim is correct, then it's a TOPS $8k car. Lowest model in a lovely color. I could verify mileage if someone is seriously interested. I'm 40 minutes from Fast Lane.
If you go look at it make sure to check the roof and see if there are screw holes in there that would fit a TAXI sign. This thing looks like an ex-yellow cab.
It's a great example of an unremarkable car. I suspect that it will need someone who has a particular attachment tp that year/model car for it to get anywhere near the asking price. I grew up in the third row of a '73 Estate Wagon ... Colonial Yellow with wood siding and a dark brown vinyl top (I think it toned down all that wierd yellow paint). If this car were a wagon close to the one I grew up with, It'd be in my garage.
That would be the one combination that I think Colonial Yellow would actually work, with the wood grain and the brown vinyl top
