Know a guy over here that has been rebuilding his 401. After starting the motor everything ran fine until the motor got warm, then a bad noise came. He shut it down pulled the intake/head and found that some exhaust valves was stuck/binding. He has put in new guides when rebuilding the heads.
    Any ideas of what happen?

Guide clearance was set too tight. .001"-.003" intakes. .0015"-.0035" exhaust. OR, lack of proper lube on initial assembly. OR, very little or NO oil to rockers.
