Now that I have your attention. Quarters are straight, but have some bondo at bottom. Heres the bad part you must cut off your self, bring your sawzall, tin ships, chisels/ hammers. Take as much as you want or all. Bring a friend. Electricity supplied. Have doors, front fenders also, trunk lid, and 69 Gs hood, at reasonable prices, all parts are pick up only. What is left has to GO. to junk yard next Monday April 25. Don't hesitate. Jim Schilf palbuick@aol.com
I havent been to Jefferson for several years. Got tired of rain and mud. Never really found much Buick stuff NOS or good used, Since Gill has left. Why someone dosen't get these quarters, especiall for free is beyound me. Mabye too much work. Jim Schilf palbuick
I know what you mean. The weather report didn't thrill me this morning, but it's Jefferson Weekend. As for the free quarters, I don't know. My experiance has been the '70-'72 stuff goes and the 68/69 doesn't. I hate to see good parts get crushed. My car is a '69, so the '68's won't work for me. Give an e-mail on the hood sailors@chorus.net see if I can do something. Jim '69 GS California
Parts Jim, I would love to get the parts... especially the front fenders! I just cannot get to your house that easy... Its a little more than an afternoon drive. If you were to keep the fenders, I would do everything I can to try to get them from you. Gil
Jim are you going to the Norwalk event next weekend? if you are i would be interested in the left front fender. :beer
Jim, Maybe we can send the fenders up to Gil via my house. 2 hrs closer to Mpls, I might be heading up to Eau Claire area soon. Just a thought, let me know what you guys think. Jim
The shell and rusty frame will go on Monday, I can save the hood, trunk lid, doors, and front fenders, all glass. There is a good swap meet in late May at the boone county fairgrounds, about 3 miles from home, I will bring all stuff there, if anyone cannot pick up now. Jim Schilf palbuick
Jim (palbuick)... and Jim (gs gimmy), If there is any way that we can make arrangements for me to get those front fenders, I would greatly appreciate it! Jim (gs gimmy), If you are going to Eau Claire, I will make sure that I meet you there! Thanks for the offer! Thanks, Gil :TU: :TU: :TU: :TU:
Yes I stil have 69 Stage 1 hood. Little surface rust on underside. Two holes for stage 1 emblem, Price is $ 180.00 Have chrome vents for extra $ 45.00. This is a pick-up only. NO shipping. Jim Schilf palbuick
Jim (palbuick)... and Jim (gs gimmy), Just wanted to touch base on the front fenders... I am not in a hurry... Have the two have talked or made arrangements? Jim (gs gimmy), When are you planning to go to Eau Claire? Thanks again, Gil
The Jefferson Swap meet is sponsored by The Madison Classics. try this for a site. The 68 Is now being turned into a BBQ grill, refrigerator, or a rice burner. Jim Schilf palbuick
thank you Jim , I found this website with your "key word" http://www.jeffersonswapmeet.com But it's a 19h drive from here ! :eek2:
A 19 hr drive would not be woth it, unless you are looking for Chebby or pony parts, Never found much for buicks, a little here and there. Much better going to Carlisle. Ask other members looking for Buick parts who attend Jefferson. Jim Schilf palbuici
