Straightening a plastic grill

    Anyone every attempt to fix a warped grill? It is perfect aside from the warp on the bottom. Some say heat is the way to go, others say to shrink it with ice. 20170829_180524.jpg

    a heat gun, a couple of pieces of one inch wide wood, four clamps. tighten the clamps onto the wood as u heat the plastic. take it slow and easy.

    Spray it with cold water to shock it after you get it where you want it

    Awesome, thanks guys. I suppose my next question is how to take the chrome trim off the top and bottom? I have a spare set but it would be nice to sell it instead of ruin it during the learning process.

    Jacob,
    The stainless trim is just a press fit on. You have to take care taking it of because it is very thin & flexible. Easy to twist & break. Take your time & don't rush. You should be fine. When installing I used double sided tape to hold the pieces in place.
