The class had a rough patch due to some track operators failures. But we worked through it as best we could within the time alotted and Steve done the same as Mike last year and ran his time and cut some wicked lights which in turn put the win where deserved. I was truly amazed at the willingness to help from all the racers. It truly speaks volumes and I assure you didn't go unnoticed, I cannot wait till next year and we will turn GSR into THE class at the Nats. I have big plans for this class guys so to anyone reading this that's building that Buick Hot Rod rite now get to work and get it ready for next year!!
Hats off to both Steve and Dave for their win.....way to go guys :TU:. Second victory in 5 years.....not to bad:beers2: Also,hats off to Ethan and all the sponsors this year. Without them this class wouldn't have a chance to excel. Looking forward in helping make this THE class people will want to watch,build and run their cars in.
Congrats Steve on a well deserved victory. Your car is absolutely beautiful, unbelievably consistent, and you were cutting the tree down on every pass. Great job, and it's always fun to watch you launch! A BIG thanks to Ethan for organizing and running the class. It was great meeting you and some of the other guys. This was my first year competing, and I had a blast. I'm looking forward to next year.
