The province of Alberta now has a total of 419 confirmed cases of coronavirus. There are 20 patients in hospital, including eight in intensive care. No known deaths at this time.

Hopefully we've blunted this thing, but it's really too early to tell. I figure we'll know in about 2 weeks whether we've blunted it or whether we were too late and look like New York. So far (as of yesterday, March 29) it's 621 cases, 38 in hospital, 12 in ICU, 2 dead and 31 recovered. Most are in Calgary, which unfortunately makes sense because the airport there is a hub, followed by Edmonton.

Not sure how accurate this is but:

A total of 968 Albertans have now contracted the novel coronavirus, and 13 have died as a result.

Well not much going on at the airport these days but for sure that is why YYC is the epicenter in Alberta. Most of our fleet is already prepped for longer storage and half the company got laid off last week. More coming. Guess who gets to change the HEPA filters on the aircraft that have confirmed cases on board? And yes there are still flights, cargo, people still need to move, but loads have dropped by 96%. If the snow melts, no traffic and gas is cheap....
