i have installed a mini starter on my 64 Electra. It has the main power cable and the solenoid wire.

Where does my neutral safety switch wire go now that I only have one post?

What/who's starter??? The neutral safety switch is NOT attached to the starter. Are you talking about the yellow wire???

The purple wire is the solenoid wire. That wire goes through the neutral safety switch. The yellow wire is the resistance wire bypass. It's only necessary if you are running points, if not, tape it off or remove it entirely.

Excellent, I am running Pertronix so I won't need the yellow wire.
