Anyone have a good source for a starter relay for my 1960 LeSabre? I’m finding “sold out” on relay 1116967 and an exchange of 1116963. Also, think I saw something about 6v with this, but that guy may have been looking for an early 50s car. starter works fine jumping from battery to the post for starter solenoid wire. Floor start is gone, the replacement starter button does put 12v to the small pink wire relay post. Big pink Ignition wire has 12v in key on position. Only wild card I dont understand is the last relay post with a red wire to it. That goes to the dash if I read the wire diagram right. This red wire has 12v with key on. That is all with the red wite disconnected. Weirdly, red wire connected makes the small pink 12v key on NOT pushing the start button. So red connected gives me 12v on both sides of the start button. I know thats not right! Still, with red disconnected the relay does not put power to the big black solenoid as it should. Pretty sure I need a new relay. Not sure what the red wire is all about and why it goes to the dash (should it be hot w/key on?)
