Star Wars Air Cleaner

Yes, this is my air cleaner. I know the emblem and base are not original. It is still very nice and I would be keeping if I could close the damn hood.

But your comments make me think.....are there clearance issues with these when not fitted to the GS?

I love the look of them, and am considering shelling out for a repro one for my 1968 Wildcat

(yeah I do know, but I am from a custom motorcycle background...stuff does not have to be concours in my world )

Did the GS hood/ scoops have extra clearance to allow for these?

 

I haven't sold it yet. I have a 455 with an after market intake and am an inch shy from closing the hood. I am sure some of the other members will answer your Wildcat questions. Thanks Peter

There are no hood clearance issues with stock intake manifold (...400/430).
They are a straight bolt on item Dave, although I did have some minor throttle lever clearance problems on my '68 Riviera.

i contact the seller yesterday afternoon to contact mr.sunset and refund me but he reply this morning and told me that it got mail already,so mr sunset if you want to buy it back from me it should be deliver to me end of week.
