Glad you qualified that statement....I thought D. Had installed a Wet Bar in the back. Sounds like good news to follow !!
Aaaalllaaannn......... I coming after yyyooouuu..... I guess Big Red & Da Wagon need to line up next time we are together :Brow: Kinda disappointed, didn't catch any Sparrows But........................................ I did pull off a 12.45@104 mph Here's what my time slip says. R/T .567 60" 1.782 330" 5.083 1/8 7.912 MPH 86.85 1000" 10.363 1/4 12.456 MPH 104.55 Needless to say I am a VERY happy girl    and Da Wagon seems to really like her new hood. Hmmmmmmmmm, slicks? Maybe Santa will be good to me this year  but I have a Holley 950 & a 1' spacer on my list :Brow: :3gears: Thanks for asking sweetie :TU: Beth
Beth Congratulations on your 12.45. That is really moving for big ole honkin wagon. I think that is about one full second faster than that car ran when Kurt had it (If I remember correctly. If I am wrong I am sure he will correct me). Maybe with the Holley 950, the spacer and some slicks the 11's may be in your future. Have fun, but be careful.
Randy, I got to ask... where the F_ _ _ do you keep all that S_ _ _ . There, I used both the words we have been emailing back and forth :beer Oh BTW it's not quite a full second faster then when Kurt owned her, he ran a 13.31 (on a breezy day with a good tail wind :moonu: p  ) Beth
Beth I keep them in various places, but only until we get our six car garage built. Then all the s--- will be where the f--- they belong. Beth, at this rate you are going to get us both kicked off this board. That Kurt is a sly dog. He knows how to take advantage of a racing opportunity when it presents itself. They don't ask you how, just how fast. The first time I took our 70 GS to the track after we bought it a few weeks ago, it ran a 10.79 without the bottle. What a rush. I havn't had the "you know whats" or lapse in judgement to kick in the nitrous. Maybe in the future. Tell Dana I said "hey" and he better get you all the toys you need to make da wagon run in the 11's.
OK....to be correct there was no wind that day but it was a perfect air day, it was about 40 degrees, sunny and clear with real low humidity and I had the carb set up for exactly that! I always wanted to run it at Rockingham, where there is almost always a tailwind. That 12.45 is awesome, once you get more seat time those numbers will drop!
<~~~~ DUCKING AND RUNNING FOR COVER !!! YIKES !!!!!!!!!! Im in trouble !!! What did I ever do to deserve being stalked by Da'Wagon and its maniacle driver ?? I ....I thought....I thought we were Friends ?!? o No: ....and Im Genuinely Happy for both of you :beer :TU: :beer :TU: :beer Just one Qustion ?? Who'd you dress up as "SpeedRacerBeth" this time ?? Bucy was too far away.....and Im not believing a .567 lite unless I see it meself :moonu: Not that Im saying you couldn't cut a good light....but, you know....a girl's got sooo much other stuff on her mind  :spank: "Does my Hair clash too much with Da'Wagon ??" "Did I leave the curling Iron on....again ?? Wish I could just plug it into the cigarette lighter !! OHHH !! Another Mod for Dana to do..... " "Ohhh !! LOOK !!! I can see myself in the hood tach !! ....AACCKK !!! Is that what I REALLY look like with a helmet on ??!!??" ".....Do they make Designer Helmets anyway ?? Hmm...Maybe a Business opportunity in there somewhere - ChickRacer Helmets.....flip down vanity mirror instead of face glass !!!" " "What did Dana really mean in 1987 at that party when he said he liked the black dress that hussy with the mustang had on ??"  ou:
Da Wagon Rules!!! Hahahaha - wow, I'm staying out of this one. Everyone in the Northeast Chapter knows you don't want to be on Alan's "list"... Beth/Dana, congratulations on some new low et's!!! I bet JW's transplant is broken in by now - it certainly runs like all of the bugs have been worked out and now you're into the tuning phase. I really like the look of the stage 2 scoop on there - it looks mean now. I was wondering how the drag radials are working out on your wagon. I bet they hook up better than those street tires you just happened to burn while warming up the wagon at Quaker! Looking forward to seeing you guys again next year and lining up the wagons again for some fun! Alright Beth, Alan's all yours... :Brow: Sorry man, you're on your own for this one! :ball: :ball: :ball:
Kurt, Just playin' with ya, we all know who could drive the tires right off of her still. Beth
Paul, Hey there, long time no hear from. ooooooooOOOOOOoooooh Alan has a list, eh? I'm sure I can't be anywhere near the top of it, sweet lil ol' me. Yes, the transplant is very much broken in now & no more Gremlins. The drag radials are working out great, they seem to get better everytime out, but now I have the idea in my head to try some slicks and a bigger carb. :Brow: I'm really liking the Stage2 hood on it, but it loses it's "sleeper" effect with it. Looking forward to Salem next year too, hmmmm Norwalk is only a few months away though, hint hint. How has your wagon been running? I saw a couple of pictures from Cecil, but no numbers. I'm sure you are still Mr. Consistant. Beth
Yo Alan- Be careful! Don't pi$$ off Dana and Beth! You know they'll hack the board again and have us all shut down for a few weeks. You know they did it last time. I read it on the BPG forum, so it must be true.... :moonu: OK, back to my patent application for a helmet with a flip down vanity mirror. That was a great idea you, er, I had. :3gears:
That's DanaJoe & BethySue to you sir p :moonu: p :moonu: Make sure that helmet has a Pink bow on it ok :eek2: :beer Beth
Yeah Beth, haven't been on the board much at all. I've had serious computer problems at home for the last month and a half. Hmmm, I think it was just after you had sent me those pictures...Thanks for those - we'll have to get some more next year. You're right about the scoop, but it also gives it a macho, Mustang-beating quality to it. Of course that kind of clashes with the pink bow... You must let me know if you're going to Norwalk - I've been trying to work in that event for years. Having another wagon there racing would push me in the right direction. My wagon has been running really well - it definitely responds to the cooler weather. I set a new best ET down in Cecil and that was with much warmer temperatures than we usually have. The wagon went an 11.49 @ 115mph with a lot of runs in the mid 11.50's. I cannot complain. Well, except for losing to Rick Martinez in the semi-finals of the gamblers race due to the throttle cable pulling thru the grommet on the gas pedal. Honest, I wasn't pushing it that hard! Now it's time to step up - I just sent a set of aluminum heads down to Mr. Gessler for some work. He asked me how fast I wanted to go. I said "in the 10's". He said "no problem". Next year should be a good year. Paul
Paul, Congrats to you on your new time :TU: :beer. Now your taillights will seem even smaller to me  We will have to catch each other during T&T cause obviously you'll be in a different bracket then me p Really going to try for Norwalk. The pink bow wont clash if I paint the hood scoop pink too :eek2: uzzled: Kidding I would not do that............. or would I. Have a good day, Beth  P.S. Alan, where are you? You're not mad at me are you sweetie
