stage 2 scoop ?

    putting together a down and dirty street strip 70 skylark , bamboo cream dog dishes blk vinyl top etc. I want to use the stock hood I want a stage 2 scoop does t/a repop the scoop I thought they did? unlimited fiberglass sells one anyone used one? doesn't have to be perfect just close. next question did the air cleaner come through the hole what stopped weather?

    i believe vfn makes a good reroduction. I don't think many stage 2 cars saw weather..

    TA's the way to go imho. It's made from the KB mold. Is slightly thicker, and has the correct bottom lip.

    I bought mine so long ago that I can't even remember where I got it from. I positioned my scoop opening so that I could use either the air pan I made with foam sealed to hood (with no filter element), or a 14" X 4" tall K & N filter with a lid sitting directly on top of the pan for street use. When using the filter, it could be seen up into the scoop. I went a little over the top and welded bracing to the bottom structure of the hood to make up for the material strength that I cut out. I can post pics a little later.
    Thought I would include a photo of the Ram-Air System I designed back in 1995, .... my car ran .2 faster with this than it ever did with the Stage 2 (with or without filter).
