I've teamed up with Steve at SRE Performance Fabrications Inc and am pleased to announce I will be stocking his Aluminum Bumper Brackets for the 1970 Buick GS, GSX & Skylark Models.

    1964, 65, 71 & 72 are also in the works!

These Bumper Brackets are Laser Cut and will shave off approximately 15 Pounds over the factory steal versions.

We recommend them for fiberglass bumpers but as seen in the photos they fit perfect on the factory steal versions. "Please Note" . . . If you purchase them for steal bumpers you are doing so at own risk! I believe they'll hold the bumper in place just fine but they're obviously not as strong as the factory units and that is where the risk comes in to play. So for "Off Road" use only! ! !

Ok, on to some photos. . . .

    Bringing this to the top.................

I know some people are still waiting for the balance of the years, (64 - 72), so I'd like to get started with the 71 & 72.

I'm in need of the actual factory brackets so I can replicate them. Because of the low volume, I believe that I'll "weld" the 71,72 brackets, as well as the other years when I get to them, vs. making the 70 brackets "one piece" which was way too much R&D for the low volume being sold.

If anyone has factory brackets that they would like to get to me for replication, please send me a PM and we can discuss the details. I would require that each component be marked......"front left, front right, rear left, etc.

    Thanks,
    Steve

    Steve,
Do you still need brackets for a 71? I have a complete set I could send Of Course, I need a set for my 71.

Yes, I could make some 71's if I had a set to copy. I've decided though, that all the rest of the brackets besides the 70 will be made in separate pcs and welded together. I have so much time in the 70 brackets making them one pc units that I'll never recoup my investment. Making them in several pcs is not any less work to build, but way less R&D to get them to the point that they work/fit.

If you want to send them to me I'll get some built.
Email me at srgs455@gmail.com and we can go over the details.

    Thanks,
    Steve
