They're dual 14" spal fans, not much room/shroud left over after those two were installed but I may just cut/drill holes and put the rubber flaps from summit on and see what happens.
I think the reason for the holes in the shroud is other than the two circular holes for the fans, the shroud effectively covers a decent portion of the radiator, blocking airflow. You could try this, remove the fan and shroud assy. see what happens, just don't idle long after a cruise, if you do get stuck at a light or something, shut it off, then restart when its time to go.
