I am swapping in a 455 into my GS350 and need to buy some new springs. Whre is the best place? I am considering Sportwagon springs for a little extra stance and stiffness. Any thoughts? TIA Frank
PST has them for $95 I believe. I used them and they've been great. If your springs aren't worn out, using them with the big block will lower your car's front stance about 1", if that's a look you like. Otherwise, Moog springs are the norm/standard, #5536. For high performance, Hotchkis is another manufacturer.
espo.com They were about half the price of anyone else for my 55 Special. Not sure if the same will be true for your year and model but I would give them a try. Received my springs in three days UPS ground. Give them a call 1 800 903 9019 Good luck
Moog coil springs. I have a new set of Moog #5536 Coil springs. I had them in my 70 skylark gs455 for about 80 miles or so. Then took them out to put in the Hotchkis 1" lowering spring. The coils are in new condition, if you want them I'll sell them to ya. $50.00 plus $20.00 for shipping. They have the ride you described. or else I'll see about returning them to Moog. Mike
