I live in Spokane WA and I'm looking for recomendations on body shops in the area. I need my front and rear floorpans replaced (here's my thread about that), and probably the trunk too.

I don't have the tools or space to do it myself (I live in an apartment), so I'm trying to find a place to do it for me. I figure I'll just bring it into some places for estimates and to scope them out, but if anyone has experience with a shop here I'd like to hear about it.

I know a place in Moses Lake. My father-in-law recently had his '49 Chevy repainted by this person who owns a business that sand blasts and paints industrial machinery (mostly agriculture stuff.) Now before I scare you off, he used to be a car show judge and is very detail oriented. He doesn't like rush jobs and gets paid for the quality of work performed. If you're interested, e-mail me a braymond@vib.tv. Maybe I can send you some close-up digital pics of the '49.

    Colin,

Get ahold of Snaperhead on this board. He lives in Idaho and is a 68-9 guy.

    Thanks for the leads guys.

A few weeks ago a friend of mine with a '63 Falcon was trying to find a place to fix his clutch linkage. He found a Mustang shop here and stopped by for a look. There were parts laying all over the place, lots of dusty cars, and 5 dudes standing around drinking beer and not doing work. Needless to say, he didn't take it there. The point of this story is that when I went through the yellow pages this was the only place that actually mentioned the kind of work I need in their ad (mostly it's just collision joints that work on new cars). Ugh.

I haven't decided on a place yet, so if anyone else has a recomendation I'd still like to hear it.
