    Crank!!

Yes Scott, I agree with you, however it's like you said, if you run a dial up on a dinosour the spinning crank becomes a problem. I have heard many complaints about it.. The problem is that we are spoiled with our cable modems, DSL lines, Pentum 4 - 2.6GHz systems, Windows 2000, etc. The majority of the people are running Win9X or less on P2 Systems and need the site as lean as possible.

I think most folks on the board would rather spend money on a new set of aluminum heads than on computer technology. Heck, I'm stupid, I have all the best technology toys and no race car yet!!!!!

Spinning crank should be in the car, not on the desktop!!!

CyberBuick What she used to be....

Hmm.. It's not the connection speed, it's the processing power & browser used. If dialup user are complaining, it could also be how the image was created/compiled. Yes, there's more then one way.

True, most of us are spoiled with broadband access, nice AMD machines with gobs of space & memory that we'll never use (speak for yourself tho  ). We tend to forget what it was like oh so many years ago (1 or 2 years.. lol)..

I'm in the same boat as you tho.. I spent all my greenbacks on technology instead of muscle.. Oh well, now I have all the technology I want, time to work on gettin the muscle part.. :TU:

There's always a pit to throw money into... And it never ends... :Brow:

note: Intel sucks.. Wives are also money pits.. Tho you didn't hear it from me.
