Sparkplug wires

    They would probably work but, the connections at the distributor are straight in while, on your Buick 400 they should be 90 deg. to make sure they clean the air cleaner. Also, the boots at the spark plug ends are 90 deg. and should be straight if you want to look halfway original.

    Get AC Delco which is a close the originals as you can buy. If you want them date coded try www.Lectriclimited.com. If yours are still Ok, do not buy any on the assumption there will be resulting performance gains. Head to head tests have shown there are none.

    I bought the most expensive set that NAPA had, and broke one pretty much immediately, trying to remove it from a spark plug. They also were a dingy matte grey silicone, that absorbed stains really aggressively. I went to Autozone, and got the most expensive set they had... easily 10x as good as the NAPA set, for about the same money. Glossy, plastic-y black exterior. Really well-made boots. No need to go to summit for plug wires just yet.
