Source for '72 Riviera trailing arms?

The stock stamped trailing arms on my 72 Riviera are rusted through. They seem like a fairly light-duty piece to begin with. However, as with everything related to the 71-71 Riviera, there is no aftermarket.

I'm thinking that there must be a set of trailing arms from another car that is the same as my E-body... but I can't find it. Does anyone a source? I'm fine with non-stock tubular arms etc. I'd prefer not to have to get them custom ($) made.

I suspect I'll have the same question about the control arms when I dig into the front suspension next week as well...

    Thanks everyone!!!

I'm surprised you haven't gotten any replies to this. You must be from a rust belt state or the car spent most of it's time there.
Get some from a car that was from one of the southern states or from ones out west. Ca. comes to mind. Also Desert Valley is one that deals with older cars & is in Az. or Nevada.
    Just my thoughts.

Yep, I'm in California but the car came from Oklahoma and who-knows-where before that. The rear half of the frame is showing some significant rust damage. The rest of the car is in good shape though, so I'll do what I can with a MIG welder until the day that I find a pristine donor frame... or make one.

    Joe,

Like I said try Desert Valley Auto parts. I've seen a few Boatails while looking at pics.

Heard that they (DVAP) recently purchased Hidden Valley in Maricopa, as well. I don't have a mechanical/chassis parts Hollander, perhaps B and C body arms interchange? Unfortunately, a lot of those cars went to the scrapper, in the scrap run up of the mid - late 00's. There is only one example in local yard, a '73 Le Sabre, and it is very rough, with missing rear end, and bent / cut rear arms. That is how they did it in the old days - hack it out with a torch.

Holy crap. That is a lot of rivieras in one location. CTC auto ranch is like the desert valley auto parts of Texas.
