One of my peeves ( theres many) is when a complete stranger walks up to you and says " How are you doing" In my head I think to myself why do you ask. I know you dont give a rats ass how Im doing. I certainly dont care how your doing and will never ask. But in reality all is do is smile and nod then continue on my way. I have no desire to make conversation with someone I dont know or care to know. Being a dick? maybe.

How about the people you see everyday and have the same thing to say everyday?

Sorry, but I just had to chime in here...the Canadian stand-off is about right. Sorry if it's not funny. We've made apologizing a national obsession. The only thing our PM hasn't apologized for is his perfect hair, which I'm sure some in Washington find to be an affront. Our apologies...
Again, sorry for interrupting, - this thread will now resume where it left off.

    Hey BUDDY!
budy bud . I cant stand being called buddy, buggs me for some reason. When your collecting money from a customer, they call you buddy usually means they dont want to pay what they owe. Briz knows what I mean i bet

I don't mind when friends call you 'buddy' or 'bro', but not strangers or those with whom I'm doing business. My Dad went by Bud, one of my closest friends nickname is Bud, and this guy's name is Buddy............ March 2013 (1).JPG

    thats a true buddy Jerry.

They say if you lock your dog and your wife in the trunk of your car for a day, your dog will be happy to see you.

Had a guy once say this to me when he was called someones "buddy" A buddy is a guy that will go and get 2 Bj's then come back and give you one. I dont call anyone bud or buddy. I will sometimes use bro or Bub if Im comfortable with them.

Big difference: A buddy is someone who will tell you about it and where you can contact her (I hope it's a 'her') . It's a 'good buddy' who brings you back one.
