    Nothing a brillo wouldn't take care of I don't think,...best I can tell

    I just don’t want to get an overpriced core. If it still has unpeppered chrome,I would get that,otherwise my original is about the same.

    I'd have him brillo it up and send a few pics,..especially with the "no returns accepted " clause

    The box definitely shows signs of being soaking wet at least once. Maybe it spent some time under water?

    The aftermarket is nice, I got 3 of them, but NOS has to be worth more or we should just throw away all our NOS stuff,...if there is any blemishes then of course that's a different story.

    If that happens, just let me know when garbage night is by you:D

    My NOS boxes all show battle damage. Most are water stained to some degree. NOS chrome will get a little hazy and tarnished from sitting in a box for years. Most of the time it polishes up and looks like the day it way made. I wouldn't use anything but some Flitz and a microfiber rag on it.
