ive been watching him and he take very nice cars and derbys them what a pos now he uses super clean wagons to trash http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...06.m7&_trkparms=algo=LVI&its=K%2BD&otn=3&ps=5 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370155433181&ih=024&category=39405&_trksid=p4506.m7&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26its%3DK%252BD%26otn%3D3%26ps%3D5
It's a shame what he did to that '76 wagon. It's unfortunte because some good restorable cars are scooped up for their parts, by resellers, or to be destroyed. Wayne
That is a shame. I would like to build a wagon for my next car, (wife doesn't like the idea). There are some cool cars that don't get the respect they deserve, and besides that the parts that are clean on the car.
So do something - drop him an e-mail and tell him that when he gets in a nice older Buick, to call or e-mail you (or e-mail the board) and see if he can sell it - he can probably get a better price here for a complete car than on E-bay for a demo shell. I also saw that ad yesterday and was quite saddened, BTW. John
BUICK wagons dont exist over here.Theres a '65 in the local yard but it's a pos & he wants wayyy too much $$$ for it.Never shoulda sold my burgandy'64 sport roof w/3 sp on the floorp
I hate the asshats who distroy beautiful cars in the name of fun. A freinds son demos a car once a year and I mention my thoughts to her. She said the cars he uses are barely running crap destin for the junk yard. He just speeds them along. Tim
Down in Texas they don't do much in the way of demo derbies. If they do, I haven't found their message boards yet. Of all the driving I've done around here, I've only seen two yards up in Godley have any demo derby cars in them. That guy uses mostly 77-85 B-bodies, Cordobas, and the like. He just stripped down a copper colored 1982 LeSabre coupe. I'll be visiting his trash pile sometime to see if he threw away anything I can use for my Estate. It had a tan interior so I might get lucky,
