I was looking for some cheap wheels for a car of mine..... Found a set of 5....15 inch Hurricane Wheels.....they were listed as 5×4.5 ford...... Well one was that the 4 were Unilug......$100 Then I Found some old vintage torque thrust style....2 -14 inch and 2-15 inch.....he wanted $185...... Bought for $125 Sold the hurricanes locally for $300.... So I made $75 and got the torque thrusts for free.... .. Then I find a pair of brand new 15×8 smoothie wheels in boxes for $75. On Craig's list... So I got technically those for free....... I only needed the 2 15 inch torque thrust wheels....... Then I found a guy 10 minutes away selling a set of factory front disc brakes off a 1967 Chevelle along with springs/ lower control arms and proportioning valve.....he wanted $250 on FB market place......he lowered the price to $100......picked those up...... So at the end....I got my brakes, a set of torque thrust wheels and 2 new Smoothies for $100 I almost got a set of factory. rear disc brakes from a camaro for $100 but after saying I'd come and pick them up ....he couldn't find 1 caliper. I guess you can't win them all. Not a bad week for me.
