There's so many cars it's hard to see everything. Here's two more.

I need to include this one too. Yes, Buicks are under-represented on the Tour.

That Black 1970 Stage 1 is my Sons from Blue Springs Mo. I didn't know for sure until I looked thru the Power Tour pics and there he was with several other friends cars. Fantastic to see, wish I was there to be a part of it but I'm in Middle East still, but in another 2 weeks I'll be attending the Midwest Buick show on the 25th June !!!!

Smokey15 So old that I use AARP bolts.

Wish I could have made it. There would have been one more Buick. I ran the entire route in 2012. Were you a Long Hauler?

Jerry, this year we could only do the first 3 days plus the show at the VA for the Veterans the day before the Tour. We have done 11 long hauls though of our 13 Tours. It is a great time and you get to meet so many great "car people".

If I ever get a chance to do it again, I'd like to run with a group. Last time ('12) I was with a bunch whose goal was to get from one stop to the next as fast as possible. I quit running with them. No fun and they were pissing off a lot of folks on the highway. Cruised to Stillwater OK with my friend, Tracy and the rest of the crew from Kicker. Hung out in Oklahoma with my friends (some now TV stars LOL) Finished in Arlington TX then went back to OKC to hang with friends.

My white skylark did the long haul, unfortunately it wasn't with me in it. :( But hopefully in the next few years perhaps I can change that! Looks like fun, thanks for sharing the pics!

you can count on 3 of us if not more from my group that already making plans and been talking about it. No excuses when you plan a year in advance. Be nice to see a giant caravan of Buicks. My yellow beast will be out for kill! New pics will be available real soon. I am seeing light at the end of my tunnel.

Alvare racing you should start a thread for next years power tour participants.
I also am going to try and make it if it indeed starts in Kentucky and works south (south is where i am now)

That's a good idea totally agree Chris, but I'll wait at least until January 2018. That should give people 6 month advance notice. There's nothing more I want than to have a giant Buick Cruising Party and hot doggin our cars around.

White GSX is ours. This is an original unrestored real Stage-1 Auto GSX. My father bought it new in Oct of 1970. It had not been on the road for many years. I did some maintenance on it and we made the whole tour without a mechanical issue. The car did awesome and it was great to attend with the car. Not many Buicks on the tour but still a lot of fun.
