I do not have the time to finish the little things that do not work. Our house sold and we will be heading to Tennessee from Colorado. My clients are suffocating me with work before I move, so the Buick needs to go.

Here is the right up on the car.

I have not had the time to get the Heat/AC working. Everything is there.
The Fuel gauge is stuck at full and has full ohm feed back to the tank with the wire disconnected.
Clock is correct at 3 o'clock twice a day.
Radio comes on and feeds static to the speakers. But no happy music.

All power items including the antenna work. Seat, windows, door locks (not really power as they are vacuum operated), steering and brakes.

Brakes are new with shoes, soft line, wheel cylinders and master cylinder replaced. The hard lines were flushed with soapy water, water, air and nitrogen. Pressure bled.

    New plugs, coil and points.

    New tires.

The body has 2 small rust spots under the back window where the vinyl top has come up due to said rust. The car has "whiskey dents" on it. Nothing that can not be corrected without new panels. This car spent its life until 1990 in Atlanta outside as a driver. Was hauled to Colorado Springs and put under cover. The wind blows here a lot, so on all of the tops of the fenders the paint is warn through.

The interior is incredible as a survivor. The drivers side of the seat is starting to do the 1 inch cracking thing. No other rips or tears in anything. Head liner, dash back seat look new. Carpet has a few small light discoloration spots. Door panels have discoloration if you look hard.

No rust in the truck or anywhere under the car. The pictures show this.

Not sure what it is worth. I really wanted to late model the drive train but it is too nice for that. So I will move on.

New price $4500 OBO. I really do not want to haul it to Tennessee.

What you see here is very surface. I realized after I posted the pictures, it looks like there are hols. There are not any. Not even soft spots.

Now for the bad. Right fender has dents at the top. Can not find a picture of it.

I drive it locally when the weather is good I have put almost 200 miles on it 10 at a time. I also have a 79 Red Corvette, it gets more miles.

I know somebody here in the Atlanta area who might have it return back home and keep it original. That rust in the rear window corners is really, really bad news though. Difficult to repair.

If I had time, I would fix those. I have done to many to count on to many different makes of cars. Would pull the vinyl off and spray the roof white when done.

IF it doesn't sell just drive it to your new home so you still enjoy driving it. That could be another option & MIGHT have better luch there selling it.
    Just my thoughts.

It would ride on my 4 car slant trailer. Probably take up 2 spaces though. But I will not have inside storage there. I do not like my stuff sitting outside.

    Wade,
I sold a 69 Deuce and a Quarter a year ago that was in about the same shape as this.
2 door with Seafoam green, black top and interior. One or two "whiskey" dents, interior was perfect, paint was worn but not terrible. You could see from a previous repair that the left rear quarter had been repainted at some time in its past life, it looked good other than the paint aging differently.
I started my asking price at $7500. Had some interest.
Dropped down to $6500 and got a lot more interest.
Ended up selling it for $5200 to the first guy that looked at it.

I know a Wildcat and an Electra 225 are different, but they are pretty close. And the condition was very similar.
I think you're right where you need to be on your price.:)

Good Luck with the sale...and the move!!

No idea. Short of pulling the cover, how else do I find out? I'm not a buick guy.

    1. Look for a posi tag on one of the cover bolts.
    2. Jack up the rear of the car and manually turn a tire the opposite tire should turn the same direction if a posi traction rear . If it turns the opposite direction its a open.

I do not think it does. I have done hard launches making a turn and did not get the locked squeal of the inside tire.

I will jump on it in the dirt and watch the tires.

    Not a possi car.

Just posting this to bump the thread. Price reduced. I have been driving it, really enjoy it. But I really do not want to haul it to Tennessee next month.
