    Hey, yall

I’m looking to restore my 1970 skylark with a 350. I want to dive into the pro-touring scene and would like to have my 350 built for a supercharger. Who would y’all recommend I send my 350 to? I’m new to the forum but would really appreciate the help!

a lot of turbo buick principles apply. if a turbo buick shop will take it, they should do good work.

Pistons should be easy to get . Since turbo piston fits the 350 also.

i like my 3.0 flat tops. cheap easy 9.5:1. runs great on 91.

My build puts down 250hp/275ftlbs to the tires.

Stock 71 block, honed by me.

    Stock crank ground .010/.010

    Stock rods resized

    TA_310 cam

Heads surfaced and guides cut for comp 980-16 springs

    hooker 1103hkr headers

    TA DP intake

TA HEI timing at 12* initial (idle), 22* of advance all in by 2600rpm.

    .042 head gaskets, 55ish cc heads, it's about 9.7:1.

with 10w30 i get 70psi cold idle, 70 on the highway hot, 20psi hot at idle, raises with rpm like a tach. Perfect.

They are decent for the price but for boosted engines I would suggest a turbo v6 piston. Hyperutectic or forged, and have seen them in 10 to 1. Just need to know best ring gap for applications

I called them several times when I was figuring out where to send my motor, and they never called me back. The last time I called and talked to a nice lady in the office and she told me Bobb was in, let me go see if he'll take your call (he wouldn't), would I like to leave a message.

Told her I left several messages, no thank you. Maybe they take calls now? Maybe they do good work? I'll never know! I put a LOT of money in my motor build. Their loss.
