Simulated Wood wheel question on `65s

Hello,i was wondering if the `65 Gran Sports came with a sport wood wheel like the 67 and later models?also noticed the rivieras had them in `65.

If you replace the wheel on your 65 GS, would you give me first chance to buy your old wheel since mine is badly cracked? Thanks in advance.

No sport wheel was available on the 65s. I bought a two spoke wood wheel for a 65-66 Chev, and am going to fabricate a Tri-Shield horn cap. I think something like a mid-year Corvette hub needs to be used too. There was someone who frequents either this board or the old GSCA forum that had done this to their 65.

yea i might do the same or if i find a wood wheel out of a `65 Rivie ill get that.
