Yeah, I know it's not the correct color for 1971 but I liked the color. Since pic was taken, car now regular Weld Wheels and new 71 grille. John.
Very nice John.Do you live on the east end?I had asked some of the strong island guys if they knew your car,I saw it on Hampton road,South Hampton about 6:30 in the morning heading east weeks ago.Even if it wasn't you, looks like a sweet ride.
Really like the color ! Is it the original 68 color (only riv) ? Mine was originally Ivory gold mist ( G code ) The pic is from mid-70's
Hey you EAST ENDERS.....my son-in-law is (burnout9217) on this site and he lives in Sagharbor on Noyak Road and also has a house on the North Fork in Jamesport. Maybe you guys should get together out there for some buick fun. Here are some of his rides...keep an eye out for us 'cause we don't let cobwebs grow on these badboys.....................................................
Actually, I'm glad you asked, because it made me notice that I misnamed the color... :error: It is Buckskin, Code X. But it's still just tan... And yes, it is the original color... it's been resprayed, but it is spot-on. Thanks Frank
Tufbuick, Sounds Like A Good Idea. Looks Like He's Into Contvertibles. Does He Ever Go To Meschutt Beach On Fridays In Hampton Bay. John.
Thats a great combo, it kind of reminds me of 70 Harvest Gold(my personal fav) Here's my Cortez 72 w/70 nose.
Butternut Yellow, actually a Riv. only colour for the year. Also called Crocus Yellow & bamboo Creme other years.
My first car This is my first car!....1977, a few months before I turned 16, I bought this GS for $50 from my friends older brother.... It had a bad 425, and a MAACO paint job. I spent the next 3 years rebuilding the car. It was wrecked in 1982 :ball: I really miss that car....
