What do you think if I paint the white vinyl top black? It’s a number matching gs350 with white bench seat interior.........just think it would look better black vinyl top. I think it would look a lot tougher.

    Thoughts?

The white looks good. I would leave it the way it is.

I would stay with the white---or strip the vinyl off and go solid color.

I like white but have someone photoshop the top black so you can get an idea of what it would look like before changing it. Or someone has to have a picture of a flame orange/black top GS available.

Are you nuts? :D:D Like Ethan said, leave it white please! The orange wont "pop" as much with a black top

Another vote for leaving it white here.
If you were changing the interior too, maybe then but not with white interior.
It's your car so you can do exactly whatever you want with it.
You asked for opinions and mine is that it looks so clean and sharp with white.
    It's a nice bright contrast!

Wow! lots of responses ....... for now she will keep her white top.
I’ve got rear end and rear suspension to keep busy with for now.
The car was purchased so my son in laws, grand kids and daughters can participate in the family hobby. Nowadays living in Vancouver is so expensive, young couples don’t have funds for a car, or even a place to store them. I was very fortunate to find this car literally in my neighbourhood.
    Thanks everyone

I have attached a few pictures of my old 72 GS in flame orange and black. I had it painted sometime after this picture, I removed the side molding and was going to remove the vinyl top. I also wanted to delete the upper peak moldings but did not as I did not want that much body work done. It was a Calf car..

I dug through my email to find these pictures, as I cannot get to my server right now. You can see the side molding removed and I included a few in shop with and without top. I like it without the top but I hated to remove it because it was an original Calf 50k mile car..

Black top with black interior looks good. But black top with white interior would not. Keep the top white.

Would it have been too crude if I said it this way?
