Anyone have experience shipping an engine across the boarder to Canada?
Just wondering if there are any options without breaking the bank?

Dan are you talking about a complete built engine from one of the "greats" down south or just a block/core for rebuild?

If you can ship to the USA side of the border and pick up from there life is much easier. Many border cities or towns offer parcel service for Canadian folks or a post office type services.

It’s a running engine but nothing special.
I was wondering about the US side address but was thinking if’s it’s already packaged up is it a problem to just keep it going.

If you plan on tearing it down for a rebuild of any kind it's kinda cost prohibitive to get one from the US when there's lots of running/core engines up here you can get for way less money. If you're hell bent on getting one out of the US get it shipped to the border as it's usually a decent price especially if there's a Fastenal location near the border. Then drive over and pick it up, only costs you time and fuel from there. Tell the border guys its parts and duty should be cheap. If you want to just have it shipped to Canada directy there's a Fastenal location in Barrie, ON I could pick it up from there (40 min from my house) and bring it back towards you as I'm in Wasaga Beach and we could meet half way? Since you're in Teeswater that would cut down on your driving to get it from Fastenal. Let me know if you need my assistance. Also there's a running still in the car(but needs a rebuild) 455 engine in New Lowell (25 min from my house) on kijiji for $500 CDN just incase you want to stay within Canada
