Is it possible to get the CORRECT cable for a 68 GS400 with a floor shifter? I have bought a replacement cable (can't remember from where) and it's too long and has the wrong end. I have seen some on E-Bay go for fairly high money. Anybody have any info, links on where to get the right ones? Thanks, Dan
Dan, I believe the shifter cable is the same from 68-72. I have a spare that I want to hold on to. The GM part # is 1383520. Have you tried GM? It's probably discontinued, but you should make sure. They also used that shifter from 73-77, but the cable ends may be different on the trans side.
