Looks like a half price sale. With the window sticker to prove it's a ST1 and the condition it looks like it's in, it seems like he's giving it away. Just wish I was in the market or a dealer, I'd hit the buy it now in an instant.

Only concern is, if it's too good to be true is it a scam?

I know I could very well be wrong, but i am thinking I have seen this car on here before or ebay before...I can't place it, but I am almost sure I have seen it listed before. Any chance anybody from Ohio knows of this car?

fwiw, the license plate on the little compact car is not an Ohio plate...not that means anything. I'm almost positive this car has been on ebay before for quite a bit more than this. If it is legit, I would love to pick this car up...something doesn't seem right though

Something fishy--- Why is the last 6 of the VIN much darker and clearer on the window sticker?

I really want to hit the buy it now on this car. Just like many of you I am unsure about this car. If it seems to good to be true it probably is! I will be in OH on friday but that maybe to late. If someone hear could go look at the car for me I would gladly pay them for there time :TU:

IT does indeed seem too good to be true.

Im never one to take advantage of those situations... most times its for the better, but you hate to think of passing up something like this.

If the car is misrepresented or is a fraud it will void the e-bay agreement. Someone hit it and take the chance

I sent an email this AM to get the carb and distributor numbers. Also, the seller is into Buicks... Look at his feedback history...

Wow, that's not a bad looking car for the price. There use to be a triple brown 70 Stage 1 car with bucket seats running around the WestPark area of Cleveland back in the late 80s to early 90s. I lost track of it. It was a true old lady car that a guy bought. It ran great when I drove in it around 1989 and it was all stock just like this one. I don't know what happened to it. The vin is a early number and it has the clear radiator top and pointed lenses. It has the BB trans, wonder if the vin matches? It looks like it was bought at Toth Buick in Berea, OH. I wonder if George Toth remembers this one?? Macedonia is not far from Cleveland. I wish I had some extra cash laying around...I'd hit the buy it now too.

Well I Sent Him A Message Asking If I Could Come Take A Look At The Car Before One Of My Freinds Bid On It, So Well See What Happens.

Set up a new ebay account and make the buy it now from that account, I am dying to see if this is for real. That should flush things out real quick

I also sent a email asking for the guys phone number this morning ( 7-8am ) no reply as of yet.:spank:

Note the instant payment of 500 on the buy it now. so if you setup a new ebay acct you would have to pay 500 anyway just to see if it is real.

anyone got a deck of cards and feeling lucky :TU:

this person bids and buys buick parts he has to know what he has. It really is making me and many others here very uneasy about doing a buy it now.

All of us know we will be kicking ourselves later on if this turns out to be a nice car :af:

EXACTLY...if it weren't for the $500 instant payment and the fact that I KNOW I have seen that car for sale with those exact pictures, I would like to do a BIN. This is going to blow big time if the car is legit...I just can't get any response from the seller and I don't feel like gambling $500

O I missed the $500 instant payment, yea that changes the game. Good luck guys, I smell a scam here. If this guy is a Buick guy he would be well aware of the value of this car is worth.

The $500 instant payment smells, but I always thought if you paid viw Paypal and funded the payment with a credit card you could cancel the payment.

If it is too good to be true it usually is not true, and if it is true the guy who figures out a way to make the payment and still protect himself will win. Maybe the scammers that work on e-bay would know how to revoke a payment, but none of them hange here

    too bad:mad:
